You will be able to catch up with how the tour is going, not only just the hypnotising and mesmerising moments but the funny moments too, that you perhaps wouldn’t see on our social media. We look forward to sharing some cool stuff with you lovely people – our Sherry Babies – over the coming months!
FTC are currently five months into the tour. We have had some truly incredible nights touring around the UK and are loving every minute on these wonderful stages. That being said, Southend and Harlow will stand out in our memories for a long time.
Southend Cliffs Pavillion
Southend Cliffs Pavilion on Jan 16th was only our 2nd show of the tour. Starting any touring theatre show takes time before becoming routine, so questions such as “Have I packed my trousers” seem to elude cast members’ brains on show two of a tour. However, by shows five and six, the small details etch into the brain. Over 1400 people shared a night of pure magic that evening. We were certainly feeling the love from the audience, and the feedback from the venue was incredible. The Duty Manager even said it was one of the best shows she had seen in a long time.
Harlow Playhouse
Harlow Playhouse on 20th May was a complete sellout. Both Jay Harrison (percussion/vocals) and Elliott Blower (MD/drums/vocals) had performed at Harlow Playhouse in other touring theatre shows previously. Yet both of them said how electric the atmosphere was on this particular night. It was also the first night we had our new T-shirts on sale on the merch stand, and these were very popular.
